please don't listen to Hannah R! Us ladies with "wider calves" still make knee boots look wonderful - Evans are ace as they do several different fittings, and I've picked up 3 pairs in the sales! I have also been told that Clarkes are good for wider fittings... Hope this helps - don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't wear something because it's only made for a certain body shape!!!

Hey I have the same problem and I have bought boots in Evans, but they can be too big for me and i'm a size 18. There is a website called duo boots - www.duoboots.com. They send you a measuring tape and make boots to measure. I have a black low heeled pair from there. There prices are hefty (mine were cheapish at £90), but considering in Evans they are £50 to £80, its not a lot more for ones that are made specially for you!
Also www.fashionworld.co.uk do boots in different calf widths or adjustable ones if you are on a budget.
I don't agree that they only look good on slender people, it's just taken the fashion people a long time to figure out that bigger girls want to look fab too! Good luck x

Have you tried fabric boots? The fabric can look like leather or velvet for a dressy touch and it usually can stretch quite a bit so that your feet and calfs will both be fitted.

Try DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse). Also try Target or Payless. I found a really cute boot at Target last year. I have the same problem from running track. If you can't find any boots to your liking at knee high length, try a cute ankle boot.
