I have a dinner party to go to and I have no idea what to wear. It is a semi formal event. There is dinner there is no dancing. I am 5 7 and weigh about 150 an I also have shoulder length hair and wear a D cup so what should I wear that will look nice but not trashy. It is for my husbands work. I reall y need help I have never had to get dressed up before.

I have VERY short legs (I even have to hem petite-length pants; the only thing I can wear off the rack is capris, and they look full-length on me). I love long floor-length evening gowns because they elongate my legs, but I'm going to an semiformal event where I've be overdressed in one. A "cocktail dress" is supposed to be knee-length, but I look terrible in dresses of that length, especially the sheath style. What are my other options? Is it possible that I could look all right in a knee-length dress with a particular type of skirt?

I have been wearing rainbow flip flops all summer and its getting cold down here in SC and i need to find some shoes. I almost always wear jeans and polos or a t shirt. I was thinking about getting some sperrys and adidas samba classics. I cant decide what to get and i definatly do not want anything skater or something like that. Will someone help me and give me some shoes that are in style that would look good with jeans. Thanks and here are the shoes i am thinking about getting.

like at my school this girl was getting picked on because she was wereing brown w/ black they were matching { the girls that were doing the picking} so ya kinda listen to their fashion advice but another time these other{ matching }girls were complementing on this girl outfitt that was brown w/ black so who do i listen to?
