Fashion & Accessories - October 2006

Okay.. Last year I didn't go to hoemcomgin because we just had moved here that was freshmen year. and before that i was homeschooled so I've never been to a dance. Anyway, I'm going to homecomign this year and I dont know what to wear or what to do with hair/make up!! I thought maybe one of these dress...

I am going to a big party this weekend and my dress is a simple knee length, sexy black dress. I want to avoid looking like all the other black simple dresses. How can I accessorize? The dress is form fitting with a plunging, square neckline (just above the breast). It has a little thin attached belt (black also) right under the breast (kind of empire waisted ) The dress stops just below the knee. Any jewelry? what type of shoe?

What I really want to know is, if you have seen it for sale in the US, where? I am trying to get a replacement for a beloved jacket from them and I see on their website they have the jacket, but they are in Italy and wont respond to my emails. Mine came from Nieman Marcus a few years ago, but they dont carry it anymore Here is the link to the company website if you are curious. www.adddown.it. If you can get these, I swear they are the softest, warmest, and most flattering down jackets ever. Mine could even squish down into my small handbag!

They beat them and mame them and skin them alive. WHY IS THIS LEGAL? I am not a animal rights lunatic. I don't think cats should be able to vote or anything but this is horrific. I know not wearing fur is the quick answer but so many people still do. I of course do not, but it doesn't seem to matter. I want to do those things to the fur traders. At least they have a chance to fight back.

The dress (which I love) is made out of T-sirt material so the gum (which I sat on) is well and truly stuck in the lock - knit fabric. I don't know how to get it out of anything especially not this type of fabric!
