Just check out most 90's movies (Hackers, Ghost, Ace Ventura, Singles etc. or music from the decade in particular watch old episodes of Beverly Hills 90210, Roseann, Saved By The Bell (yeah came out in 1989 but....).

Not that much different from now. Where i live where people still wear Jnco's with wallet chains and baggy shirts.

Have a look at VH1's website in the I Love The 90's section too.

The '90s are retro??? When did this happen??? How come nobody gave me the memo!?! Dammit.

Well the styles were pretty open, you could just do the grunge thing with jeans, flannel shirts, and sneakers or boots or you could just go with oversized dickies. It's up to you.

*goes off on a tangent about the '90s not being retro*

Think Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Early Real World, early Friends, Blossom, Martin, Mad About You. Think denim jackets and hoop earrings. Grunge was IT-think plaid flannel shirts, dark t-shirts, ripped jeans, clunky doc martens, denim overalls. The late 90's unshered in the preppy look-Tommy Hilfigger-golf shirts, boot cut jeans, fitted t's for girls, khaki pants. That's just a quick recap. I could go on. Definately check out the source I have listed. Have fun with it!!

Bright orange- Backwards clothes

Stone washed jeans

Jean overalls with one up and one down

Ruffle top shirts

air brushed t shirts matching w friends

Quilted jackets...

There are tons of different things.. best thing would be to search for the top artists back then and look at their album covers for ideas

The 90's were retro, a blast from the past, vintage, skater boy, you know the drill.
Were slight flare low riders, and a tank top

old school and retro refers to the 60's and 70's darling. the 90's, hardly retro. now, with that being said, go through your moms closet.

YEAR: 1990.......

LENGTH OF SKIRT: Just above the knee

SILHOUETTE: There wasnt a specific one

FACT:
In the 1990's Addidas (brand of sheo) Roxy (clothing line) and baggy pants were a MAJOR! trend.

And if you got mixed up with 1990 and 1900 heres the one for 1900 just in case :)

Good god, the '80s aren't even retro yet... Go to the nearest thrift shop and look for a pair of cross color jeans! Ha, cross colors, that makes me giggle!

just think Beverly Hills 90210. the tv show.
you can wear just faded jeans and a white t-shirt tucked in, with a big black belt and some shoes with a chunky heel. or if you're REALLY brave, wear a baby doll top with cut off jean shorts underneath, birght colored tights and tall boots. the more lacing the more Brenda Walsh you are!
