I was born in 1975 and on photos, my mother wore mini dresses (and I mean mini!) with blocky platform shoes with a rounded toe. Also, long to the ground hippy style dresses were in. My Dad wore bell bottom pants and jeans with a shirt tucked in with HUGE collars lol!

Mini dresses, platform shoes, bell bottoms, lots of beads, lots of colors mixed good or bad. Girls without bras. A fashion statement to remember. Beehive hairdos which you wrapped in toilet paper at night so they would still stand up in the morning.

lots of weird prints, bell bottoms platform shoes. Men wore wide ties with suits. Women tended to wear shorter skirts. check out websites that feature 70's stuff.

Jeans, t-shirts, sandals and long hair.
Also anything colorful and/or flamboyant, borderline gayish looking.
