and since its like the beginning or the year-ish then probably not that big of a dance so a skirt and a t-shirt ?

it depends on the kind of dance if its just a for fun dance
short black dress or is is it a formal than it would be a ling dress

depends on what kind of dance
if its just a middle school one where you go right afterschool then anything your comfortable in. regular clothes pretty much
but if its like homecoming or prom a nice dress probably

well if its a formal where a beatiful dress that stands out and shows your personality,
but its its a semi formal wear some jeans with a fancy top!

if its causal wear jeans/skirt and a cute shirt
if its semi-casual you can wear jeans/skirt w/ a dressy top or nice pants/skirt w/ normal shirt
if its semi formal wear dressy pants/skirt and a dressy top shirt
then and only then if its formal wear a dress =]

ummm...what grade? maybe a cute black dress...with accessories that pop out. an updo for the hair...with glam make up. =)
