I'm a fashion nerd. I have NO idea what to buy her to wear. She keeps picking out prom-style, floor-length dresses. I thought a "street" length would be more appropriate. What kind of dress is worn to a "semi-formal" dance? Is a normal "sunday's best" appropriate for this function?

Whenver I wear these shoes, when I try to walk in them, my heel will pop out of the shoe. Is there anything I can buy to keep my heel secure? I've tried double sided tape, but it is not strong enough. HELP PLEASE!!!!

hey im planning to get these white shorts (argentina WC 06, you can google then and u'll see them) and they are 100% polyester and i was wondering if you can see thru them if ur really close or if it were to rain would they become see thru like cotton. Ive tried looking for sum polyester clothes but they are too dark too check this out. thanx

do u think that is a good look, also?? i don't like the fit of dress shoes (wingtips etc) and i have to wear a suit sometimes. when i do, i was wondering if anyone thought it would be acceptable/professional to wear some black pumas with a black suit (other color suits matching as well too) I SAW JOHN LEGUIZAMO DO THIS ON ER quite often. My daughter is in a ballroom dance competition.. she is 12yrs olds..I need a dress where do i get it? She will be doing a Waltz. Need to find her a dress this week as it is Sat. and so custom made won't do. I looked online but Ballroom gowns are usually only found for adults and more than what i can afford to spend on a 12yr old's dress. Budget is under $ 200.00 including shipping.
