Any color but white! White is nasty and looks like an old man. Boxer briefs are hot!

Look man no girl is going to look at your underwear and because of the type your waring judge you by that. As long as they are clean and don't smell like cheese you will be fine. I can suggest that you stay away from the old type is some country's is called briefs you know the speedo type because they just look disgusting but that is my personal opinion. And if you think you might get an erection wile on your date don't I repeat don't wear boxer shorts.
Color wise I will stick with black, or if you are muscular with a big gun you can use White that will put the focus on your nob, but be care full for skid marks it shows very clearly on white.

Well it depends on what you are going to be doing. You want to be comfortable. If you plan on getting some you want to look sexy too. Boxer briefs are hot, also some kind of boxer with some cute or funny design on it is cute also. If you match your shirt color with you boxer's that shows the girl that your atleast color cordinated and you can tell her you done it just for her. Don't wear whitie tities or anything that is bigger than you. But remember comfortability is the key! Good Luck!

It should be conservative (no, "HUNK HUNG HERE").
Other than that, your date won't care. Boxers are preferable, but I've known a lot of girls who like men to wear boxer briefs.
Although if it's your first date, you shouldn't be focused on the underwear. That tells me you're probably focused more on the sex side of things rather than the "her/him" side of things, and people can tell that. Try to be more into the date, and what she/he's saying. You'll come out much better in the long run.
