I would actually suggest that you do a search on renaissance festivals. Many of the costume makers have wonderful clothing for women of all sizes...even if they aren't lucky enough to be godesses. :)
Ebay also has costumers that make custom pieces for fairly low prices.
Nice dressy clothing for parties.
Also...just for grins...do a search on American Tribal Bellydancing. Some ideas there, too.
