do u think that is a good look, also?? i don't like the fit of dress shoes (wingtips etc) and i have to wear a suit sometimes. when i do, i was wondering if anyone thought it would be acceptable/professional to wear some black pumas with a black suit (other color suits matching as well too) I SAW JOHN LEGUIZAMO DO THIS ON ER quite often. He would wear them all the time with dress pants and suits. I am going to be a psychologist, by the way to get an idea of how professional that this would be.

I don't think it's appropriate. Take a look at this link. It give some good advice on business casual attire:

I Think perhaps if you wanted to appear to be the kind of person that kids could relate to by appearing to be fashionable

However i think from a professional perspective wearing pumas with a suit may be frowned upon especially if you want to give the impression that you are a smart psychologist

I think suits with proper shoes are the way to go- i dont think you should wear pumas with it even if you have seen it on er
