I told my daughter (18) I was thinking of going to see Madame Butterfly at the Met (Metropolitan Opera House in NYC) and did she want to go. I said we'll have to dress up.
She said I'll wear my prom dress (a gown). I said you can probably wear the dress you wore to your cousin's wedding (looks like a gown but short - very dressy)

I have dance lessons every wednesday and i would love to look that extra bit special, i wear pretty tops and 3 quarter trousers but does anyone have any ideas of anything a bit more well...special?
i would still like similar clothes just a bit different to what i wear,

I need a new purse, but dont know where to buy one online (I dont have time to go shopping in a real store). Here are my criterias: under $60, made of washable natural fabric (such as cotton or hemp), it has to have have a few compartments and be practical (I'm a mom), and it has to look good. Can someone help me with that? Thanks!

I went clubbing the other week and one of the rooms was devoted to "goth" night... Many people dressed in black leather and PVC etc etc... Obviously I'm guessing it originated from "Gothic" but even then the traditional "Gothic" I think of refers to architecture and it's not all that dark/black really!

there is one the size of a penny and some smaller little spots. I think it may be oil from my perfume oil burner as it smells perfumey (no idea how I managed to get that on it though) The coat is 76% wool and 24% polyamide. How do I get it out? I'm worried about taking it to a dry cleaners in case they use something on it that will make it worse (have had bad experiences with dry cleaners in the past, after all, they have a disclaimer against it going wrong and it's not their coat!)

you know that all fake and real things have like a symbol different to know that they are different. like puma trainers ,the fake ones have a different leg jumping on the puma... or louis vuitton the fakes are spelt the wrong way round... well what is the difference between fake chanel and real chanel???
