I need a mens baby blue wife beater for halloween, and I can't find one anywhere. I remember tiedying shirts in elementary school, so how hard could it be to dye a wife beater 1 color? Is it simple?
Where would I get the dye?
THANKS!

You can pick the dye up just about anywhere, Walmart, food store, drug store. It is easy. You can do it on the stove. Since it is a white cotton shirt, it will only take a minute! Just follow the instructions on the package.

Baby Wife Beaters

Dyeing sounds messy and time consuming. Just go to American Apparel. They sell wife beaters for men and women in every colour under the rainbow -- including light blue and baby blue. Best of all, it's pretty cheap. They have stores across the US and Canada and I hear the online store is pretty good too.

Sure you could dye it. You can buy dye at Wal-Mart or a store like that. And if you can't find baby blue dye you could probably use regular blue and just adjust the amount you put in the water according to how dark you want it. You might want to practice on some scrap material first to make sure you get the right color.

yea just buy a white wife beater and then go to anywhere like WalMart, KMart, or just about anywhere and buy RIT dye in the color you want and follow the directions on the bottle. It's a pretty simple process

Use liquid RIT dye to control the amount of coloring. Get a plastic bucket to dye it in. No sense in destroying everyone else's clothes and your own too if you use it in a washing machine. And get some plastic gloves so your hands don't turn blue.

Try RIT dye. Should have it in the craft section of any major department store or in a craft store if they have a clothing section (paint, dye, fabric, etc)

You can change any shirt into a wife beater. I guess you will just have to beat your wife while wearing it, . . but I wouldn't recommend it. lol
