i scrunch my hair & air dry it
how can i tie it/clip it in a particular way to make the curls more subtle & together? like this...

A friend is trying to duplicate the look of a geisha. The face makeup has her stuck. Can anyone suggest techinques or links to duplicate this look? Very specific would be helpful, general like "powder on foundation" is not so helpful. thanks

i turn 18 in about 37 days (yes i am counting down) and i was wondering... do i HAVE to wait until then to get tattooed or would they let it slide if i went in a few days before my birthday (or even in a week or so from now)? and i dont want anyone saying "dont get a tattoo" because NO ONE on earth is going to change my mind. keep your opinions to yourself and help me out.

My 3yr old daughter has hair that has small corkscrews all the way down the hairshaft. It's extremely dry. If I put gel on it, it will look shiny and curly, but I don't like the way it feels and it's very drying. I was considering letting her wear her hair out to a wedding and I am trying to find a really good leave in conditioner and hair products for her to wear her hair out. Her hair is not kinky, but if it's brushed too much it will look that way because it'll be dry looking and puffy. I find that manipulating it with my fingers and a very wide comb is best. I've looked on many beauty sites for black hair and all the suggestions do not seem to work. I use Infusium 23 Leave In right now, and shampoo and condition with Pantene Relaxed and Natural. My daughter and I are both black, but her hair is like my husband's and totally different from mine, so I need a little help. If anyone has this hair type, what do you use?!?

i am 15, in the 10th grade. my face is full of acne and i wear glasses. im really smart and grades are my number one focus right now, i get amazing grades!!. but it seems like popular people get away with everything and that if you're pretty you get anything you want. many times, people at school have said i was ugly..thinking i couldn't hear it. they point at me and say "that girl is ugly!!". its happened only twice though, but still. it doesnt hurt my feelings because im used to it. i guess wearing glasses is just a nerdy thing. and theres nothing i can do about the acne..ive tried every product and i feel like i should just leave it alone. pretty girls have a good life. boys ask them out, everyone wants to be their friend, etc. why is that? and how do i cope with this? please dont suggest getting contacts or using zit cream. i just want a mental cleansing. would you rather spend high school ugly and nerdy and nonpopular but have a good life being rich later??
