Perm. I had hair that was naturally beautiful, I had hair I could wake up and brush it and get 10 commenst a day on it. I got a perm and it DESTROYED my hair. It became dry, dull un manageble, I didn't get as many comments. I still have some of the perm in my hair but cut off the ends because it looked almost dead. My hair is finally starting to get back to normal.

It has to be a perm. i colour my hair all the time and so did me mate my hair is healthy my mate permed hers after letting the colour she put in grow out and now her hair is a frizzy dry mess.

A perm, but the continual use of either one, will have damaging results to healthy natural hair. Thanks for asking.

A perm does more damage, because it changes the structure of your hair. If it's just color it doesn't damage near as much as a perm. However, if you go lighter, you are not "coloring" your hair, you are bleaching it, and this can cause as much if not more damage than a perm.

perm and bleach did about the same. however, bleach is little worse. color does intermediate damage.
