Ok, i loveee drawling- but the big problem is that i can't draw good- i try and try- but i can never get it right- i try tracing- but i want to draw something of my own-? how can i get better in drawling?? how can i be a bit better?- just asking for opinoin and ideas??

I love Victorian Patterns and I wish I knew how to either draw or create them in Adobe Illustrator (The fancy scroll/ornamental patterns designers love to use.) Are there any books on doing this? Or online video tutorials?

Be as specific as you can be. I usually go for medium point black or blue, but I also really dig them snazzy looking fine-point Pilot Pens. They make me feel really technical.

I pencil-drew a number of drawings for a children book. I am wondering which method will be easier and more effective: coloring the drawings by hand first then scanning them in the computer OR scanning in the black/white drawings and doing digital coloring?
For the first option, should it be crayons or color pencils?
For the second option, is there an electronic paint pad/brush that can hook up to a USB port?
