climate control!!. Can you remove the art and store in your home (or a friends home if you are traveling) with acid free paper between them, and then just store the frames and glass. Put card stock between the frames and store them front to front or back to back. but not with a back toward a front. Humidity and heat are not good for any art or the frames.

The storage unit should be climate controlled. Humidity could increase the risk of mold. Extreme heat wouldn't do the paper any favors either, even under glass.
