Visual Arts - February 2007

Generic logo that most schools have, shirt might say State University Football or something like that. Kind of a blocky font. I know I have seen it a million times but now I need to create a shirt and need the font. Anybody?

Hello, everyone. I am 26 and just discovering art for the first time. I did this drawing for my little boys tonight. Do you guys think it is good? I have only done a few drawings and have no experience in a formal sense. I have painted a couple things for my kids and this is my third pencil drawing. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from everyone. You don't have to know anything about art....just do you like it? My sons love monsters and I hope they will like this one. Any imput from experienced people also would be of great help...tips, flaws, etc. Thank you all and god bless.

i have a kodak camera and the software, and i've uploaded my pictures to the computer and removed them from my camera, is there anyway to remove the time stamp now that the picture is on my computer. have a really good picture but the date is on one of the faces on the picture. so how do i get rid of it?

Enough light source is provided, but there are still many spots on the photos, Is it related to the shutter speed or aperture?! or any other factors??

I would consider myself a fairly serious amateur photographer and have mainly shot landscapes. My friend saw some photos that I had taken and asked if I could take her wedding pictures. I told her that I was in no way a professional and that I could not guarantee the "perfect" wedding portraits. She said that she knew that and wanted me to take them anyway. Now I am wondering what type of lighting and lenses would best suit wedding photography. I can probably think of some things but I just thought I would ask so that I don't miss anything that would make my pictures better than they would be otherwise. Thank you for your help.

instead of going to a professional im gona take a pic of myself and get my graphic designer friend to add a background. how should i pose to make it look professional? i dont have a tripod either. its 4.0 megapixels. is this a good idea?

so i've recently been in some tall buildings in Chi trying to take some glorious nite shots. how the heck does one do this without having blurred lights or reflections from the glass (even without a flash). i set my camera on a box and set the shutter speed slow (and used the self timer to avoid shake) but it still didn't work. help please!

I upload all of my pictures on to photobucket from my digital camera and i was just wondering if this was a smart thing to do. If photobucket ever shut down I would loose all of my family pictures and my pictures from highschool [im currently a sophomore]...do you think this is likely? Printing pictures/making a CD is to expensive & i just find photobucket more convenient. THANKS!

dont think of this in a sexual way, but if you take naked pictures of someone on yourelf do people at the photolab see them? i was thinking that is isnt legal because thats someones privacy, but do they see them? and if they do see them are they supposed to hold them from you or anything like that? im not sure how the system works with digital photos, film or disposable cameras
