Having worked in a photolab many years ago I know from experience that the lab staff do see your images and couldn't care less if the images are nude or not. Adults can pose nude in photographs, its no big deal at all. The only way a lab will call in law enforcement is if the images are of someone that looks like they are under the age of 18. Your assumption that the lab workers shouldnt be allowed to see them is without merit. In order to process the film and make your prints they have to see the pictures to make sure the exposure is correct, the color balance is right and so forth. There is no invasion of privacy because you have given the film to the lab and they have to do the work they are contracted for.

Yes they see them as they scan each picture to see if its worth printing or not due to exposure or if they need to brighten the pic or darken the picture and its actually illegal depending on the photo lab they can be very harsh about it and call ya in Its not like the olden days were no one cares but now there is so much Perverts and kiddie didlers Yeah they can in force the law if they want to.

If you are shy, then the digital camera is the way to go. Don't take the pictures to the store for prints, a color ink printer does pretty good, especially if using the photo grade papers.

a photographer would be developing their own photos. a color photographer would be sending it to a lab they trust. the only reason i can imagine a photo lad would hold pics is if they are of children. adults can do the naked thing.

nude photography is not done in a sexual way unless you are a pervert. most professionals do figure studies. others do it as a way to shock the audience in to a thought that involves more then...'that's pretty'. professionals do not do sexual pics as a way to get off.

They do look at them because they have to ensure that the photos are being developed to a reasonable quality. I know this because I work with a lot of photography as a designer. Actually I know this because I used to like to take pics of my girlfriend and I and it's not funny being smirked at when you're standing at the Chemist's counter. Just don't worry about it. Nudity is great.

It depends really. If you are taking pictures to a local photo lab like Wal-Mart or a pharmacy, then most likely you'll have the law called on you. Then you'll be questioned about them, especially if they are questionable(look "amatuerish" or look under aged).

If you are referring to professional nudes, then I suggest going to a professional lab.

Yes, any image you want developed or printed will be seen by the lab technician.
