I'm in the preliminary stages of launching a line of t-shirts featuring handrawn urban concept art. I am the artist. I would like to have opinions of my art. I appreciate your time. The website is www.THEArcAngelMedia.com

congrats on your launch. i too, am an fine artist (painter) as well as a full time art director/graphic designer.

you seem to have a fairly good grasp on composition, however, I wish there was more contrast in your pieces (meaning harsher blacks, stronger colors and hues, and whiter whites). it makes a piece richer in color. go here: http://www.urbanmedium.com/

i like the idea of the strip. have you tossed around doing different urban skylines? inner chicago, detroit, harlem, etc? more specific detailed skylines? just a thought.

from an artist's point of view, i wish the work was less illustration and more artsy. take a look at the links i've sourced. find a distinctive style...try making the viewer "ache" more. (whether it's a good or bad ache...it will be something the viewer will attach themselves to). you have a strong message, just beef up the color, linework, value and contrast.

good luck on your path. may God bless you in your artist endeavors.
