Sweden would he have a better chance of escaping by way of Finland or Estonia.
Please note this is a question about feasibility, not morality or legality. It is about what would have been possible in the 1960s not now.

Were Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, Plutarch etc the first people to say they were. Would it be fair to say that was where the ideas came from?

If not, where did they first come from, can't be Bible, that was after Aristotle etc and they were already saying it.

Nasty members of the kkk placed a bomb in the bottom of a black church in 1963. Addie Mae Collins, 11, Carole Robertson, 14, Denise McNaire, 14, and Cynthia Wesley, 14 and 2 teachers died in the basement when they were preparing Sunday school. Everyone in the church was injured. The 2 men who planted the bomb in the basement were not arrested until tried to bomb the same church in 1977. They were not arrested until after the second bombing act. Thankfully they did not get to plant the bomb in the church the second time. They were not arrested until january of 1978. I mean, these formation--especially the phalanx--were pretty slow compared to unarmored archers or slingers. Even with all their armor, after being pelted by arrows (or for that matter, sling bullets) for long enough, wouldn't even these famous tactical formations have been wiped out? Why didn't ancient armies just train up thousands of archers or slingers?
