I wish certain people in the southern states would get over the so-called glory of the Confederacy. The ugly truth is that the Confederates initiated a rebellion in the name of perpetuating slavery that nearly destroyed the United States as a country dedicated to "the proposition that all men are created equal" and resulted in the death of more Americans than any other war in the country's history.

Maybe on a regional Southern level, but retained only on a state basis. Sad, because it's part of Soutrhern history, identity, and culture, black or white. A bunch of liberal, socialists, PC negroes like Jesse Jackson, and an Establishment that perpetuates the myths and story of the victors (i.e. the Northern States, the United States of America) over the conquered (i.e the Southern States, the ex-Confederate States of America).
