first catholic mass held in the philippines is in Limasawa... but not by Magellan.

I'm guessing Magellan's first mass in philippine territory was aboard his ship before he decided to set foot on our soil and died eventually.

Well, as you are aware, Magellan died in the Philippines, he was killed and never made it all the way around the globe, his crew members were, although he is given the credit and not them.

The correct place for the first mass is Lamasawa although this is actually still under debate.
