I know all the news reports say Early morning but I was hoping for something a bit more specific. Did any of those that died donate any organs? Did they die on the scene or in the hospital? I sound like a ghoul- sorry- but my uncle received a liver transplant late Friday- after 2 years of waiting- and the first thing I thought was about these folks that passed away in the bus crash. In any case, my uncle is doing well and we are very grateful to the donor family and sorry for your loss.

I have a history paper due later this month but I'm having trouble getting a topic. The class is European History 1700 (it starts at 1700 and goes up to WW1). So, basically I can choose from anything during that time span that relates to Europe. If you can, please provide me some ideas. Thanks.

Why did Allied Eexpedetionary Force had to thrust thousands of lives into Normandy to their death when massive Ariel/carpet bombing could have been initiated on the German defences on Normandy coast? Just like the ones we saw on Birlin, Dresden and Ruhr. Remember the Thousand Bomber Raids. It proves that there was no dearth of aricraft or munitions for the purpose.

Luftwaffe had been knocked out of commission already which Allied Intelligence knew for sure, thus unable to thwart an ariel assualt. Thousands of men would have been alive if the D-Day landings were launched after completion of a grand airel campaign over targeted beaches and inland targets.
