What is your opinion (Or anyone elses) veiw on this statement:

The Treaty of Versailles was a reasonable and appropriate settlement at the end of WWI that would have led to peace in Europe had it been more vigorously enforced?

If agreed, explain, if opposed explain. Sources wanted, yet not required. Basically, I'm researching different veiws on the Treaty to use in a paper. Any help would be great.

Thanks

I wanted to share, tell to anyone who is interested to listen/read,through this way,at least the pain I am bearing until now would be less.At present I'm suffering financially, emotionally and physically for what my sponsor had done to me.My physical condition doesn't work well though I'm trying hard to.She tortured me mentally, and physically, because she treated me not a human being, that even though I'm sick I need to face and continue my work even until 24 hours I was abused verbally and most important is the money that I worked for through sweat and blood was not given to me.This is the life and future of my children. She put me in trouble with the immigration, with the police so that my embassy would send me to my country to avoid of paying my salary. She threatened me. My sponsor was cruel,My entire life was ruined even the future of my children because of my employer. This is only a little part of my story.Thank you for reading it.Ria.

After WWI Belgium was given Rwanda by the League of nations and according to one account, the government turned the Hutus and the Tutsis against each other. The two tribes lived in harmony even when the Germans had control of Rwanda from 1895 to the end of WWI. But once the Belgians took over, the two tribes began to hate each other, and this hatred led to the 1994 genocide, I would like to know why they made the Hutus and the Tutsis hate each other.

"Oh, when I joined the Eagles
(as it might be yesterday)
I kissed a girl at Clusium
Before I marched away.

A long march, a long march, and twenty years in store,
when I left my girl at Clusium, beside the threshing-floor.

The girls of Spain were honey-sweet,
and the golden girls of Gaul
And the Thracian Maiden soft as birds
To hold the heart in thrall

'But the girl I kissed at Clusium
Kissed and left at Clusium,
The girl I kissed at Clusium
I remember best of all.

A long march, a long march, and twenty years behind,
But the girl I kissed at Clusium comes easy to my mind.'

People say that the winners write history. As far as I know I live in a democracy (UK) giving me the right to post this question. However I have been to Germany and always had this feeling in the back of my head, yes the Holocasut was true because so many people say that they new family and friends who died in the Holocaust and WW2, however other people say that the Holocasut never existed and say stuff like it was staged for the advantage of zionists. What can I believe is true and what is rubbish when I know that the saying is true that history is written by the winners?
