hmmm 5 apples & 5 people...I dont see a problem to fix here. Am I missing something?

5 apples in a basket? 5 people in the room? Pass the basket around and everyone gets 1 apple.

You would have to take the basket of apples into the SAME room the people are in, then give one apple to each person. As for how did I get the answer...I just read your question, really read it. ;)

OR, have the people go to wherever the basket of apples is???????????

the only way you're able to try this, is, you're a million of the 5 human beings in the room. You supply each and each individual in the room an apple and yet pass away one apple in the basket, considering which you are the 5th individual in the room.

take one apple out of the basket cut it into 5 pcs. This will allow you to give an apple to 5 people. I thunk about it

Well I give one apple to each of the other 4 . This leaves 1 apple which I than give to myself.
