I'm making a low budget horror pic and am torn between these two products, mostly because of cost and operating system. I already got the camera and accessories (I bought the brand new Canon HV20).

I personally have no problems with macs and PCs in general. And from what I hear, both Final Cut and Avid are excellent editing softwares, they have both been used on various movies (i.e. Final Cut for "300" and Avid for the "Matrix" films).

But people keep saying Macs and Final Cut is the best to get. So I'll have to spend $1500 on mac computer and $1300 on Final Cut Pro? I see that Final Cut Express is much cheaper but I'm not too sure what's so different about it and is it an advantage or disadvantage to Final Cut Pro?

For the longest time I didn't know anything about the game series legend of Zelda. Now I've got one off the games and Zelda so far only has showed up in it once. Isn’t it false advertising for Zelda not to be the main focus off the game? If you pick up a book or game with the title legend of {your name here} and you found out it was about the person that hung around you all the time wouldn't you’d be disappointed. hu hu hu.

Anyway it’s an awesome game but for a while there I was expecting something different.

The idea that the universe and everything in it is just one energy, or vibration, or whatever you want to call it I THINK was popularized first by Eastern religions. And this is the type of idea that the LOA camp claims is why "the Secret" works (if it does).

But don't Eastern religions stress LACK of attachment to particular outcomes? Don't they stress being happy in the moment, no matter what the circumstances, over trying to make this or that occur?

Not that I think eastern religions teach passivity, as Ghandi was hardly passive for example. But assuming (for the sake of argument) that this Law of Attraction stuff works, isn't it saying that it's important to control your circumstances, whereas eastern religions tend to minimize the importance of circumstances?

I am 15 and my stepmom and i are having a huge fault. I know that it is my fault, i just wanna know what to do to make it better with her.
My stepmom has been in my life since i was two. I dont remember life without her, she adopted me when i was four, i even call her Mama. I have a half sister that is hers and my dads, but she treats us no differently. She has always made it clear that she is both of us's mom. Somehow, she found out that my boyfriend and i have been thinking about going all the way. She confronted me about it, and wanted to know why i thought that i had to have sex with him. I asked how she knew, and she said that she knows everything that i do, b/c it is her job to know. I told her, and i regret saying this, and have NEVER spoken to her this way..'Its none of your f*c*king business! Your not even my real mom!' She looked at me and i knew that i hurt her. She then slapped me across the face, something that SHE has NEVER done, b/c she dont believe in it....
