to me it seems silly to plain doubt the existence of one. we understand too little about what makes our minds tick, about the universe, or anything. we study the brain through MRI's. meanwhile like 90% of the universe is made of matter we can't find, don't understand, or anything.
so overall, in maybe a couple million years if scientists say there is no god, i might ignore my gut and intuition for long enough to listen. until then, i can't help but think there's more to existence than a dead consciousness that becomes nothing more than dust, just like i wouldn't presume my spiritual beliefs are any more true than someone else's. by that i mean... jihad? nonsense.
(& i can't knock agnostics, but i will say it seems kind of arrogant to assume what we know so little of, and what historically so many of found true.)
