If I want to convert between currencies, and I have the strength of other currencies, in (for example) relation to one pound, how do I convert between them?
Lets say £1 equals:
Canadian Dollars $0.45
US Dollars $0.6
Euro €1.74
First of all, how do I convert £300 into the other currencies?
Then, how do I convert 200 of the other currencies into pounds?
Then, how would I convert, between the other currencies, for example, €350 into US$?
I know there is a formula for this, but I cant find it and I keep getting confused with when to use division and when to use multiplication.
What I do not want is to be linked to a currency converter or to just give the answers to my theoretical questions - ideally, I am looking for the formulas to understand how this all works.
