I would like to do some traveling next year and I would like to think through my options. Usually these info centers have infos on the accomodation rates. Sometimes they even have websites. I'd like to know how much money I need to gather to do some travelling in one of these countries.
Also, does anyone know a good website with a listing of low-priced accomodations in these countries? I need the prices in Euros.

A trip got canceled on me, now I have a week to do something.....
but what? Travelling alone, so basic touristing isn't all that appealing, and its hard to find a group trip thats the right week (now) and has space.

I've got all sorts of interests, so I'm open to all sorts of suggestions...

The budget is not wide open but lets say up to $2000 for the week.

I have a passport, and I live in the northeast of the US, near a major airport.

I have no physical limitations.

My fiancee and I are trying to come up with some different ideas for a honeymoon. We will be leaving around the end of May or beginning of June. We want to go somewhere exciting. We need a balance of relaxation and adventure. The worst thing in the world for me is to be lying around on the beach all day, and he doesn't want to spend the whole trip hiking or working really. Please share your ideas!!!

Give me a reason why I should visit either of these places. If I do visit I promise not to meet you or ever visit the palce again. I have a feeling that folks from SF will win to be honest. Just a thought.

Have you flown from the South terminal since the new security measures have been in force? If so, how busy/crowded is the departure lounge? It is usually fairly full, so I can imagine that it is even worse now with all of the delays. I am using the information to aid my decision of whether to pay to use the airport lounge.

Picture the scene - You are in the Travel Agent's, before your travel details are confirmed - you are shown into a room where 2 gentleman in dark glasses and dark suits - sit you down for an intimate insite to your life ..and only if they think you meet the travel security requirments do you then get to finish your booking. (online bookings could not be confirmed till a meeting has been carried out)
Would you be happy with this ? Or do you think its a step to Moscow cold war State ?
