We are buying a property in Spain and the agents have asked us to transfer the money to their account, is this normal practice?

We would prefer to transfer to the Notary office or set up our own account and transfer there?

Also, we are a bit worried that the agents may be "back to back"ing the sale/purchase///how can we check this out?

Thanks!

In the past 2 years I have walked the "Chemin St Jacques" from Puy-en-Velay to St.Jean-Pied-de-Port. Next year I plan to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Best known route for this is the "Camino Franchèse", going from StJean-Pied-de-Port via Pamplona - Logrono - Burgos - Léon to Santiago de Compostella. This route seems to be rather crowded however and the lanscape & roads sometimes not treally nice to walk. I therefore consider to walk the "Camino del Norte", which goes along the Northern coast of Spain via San Sebastian -Santander-Oviedo. Can anyone tell me from personal experience or other sources if this is a more pleasurable walking experience than the "Camino Franchèse"?
Information on other alternate routes to the present "Camino Franchèse" will also be very welcome.

I have the opportunity to stay with a family there for two months and teach them English. I have 3 years in Spanish. I've already been to Cadiz. I really like the beach and just having something to do during the day and night. I'd like to go to a city where I'd have the most fun, and meet the friendliest people. Do you have any cities you'd recommend?
