Speak to the Spanish embassy in London. Just because she can stay in the UK does not mean that she can go anywhere else in the world without a visa. If the Spanish require a visa, ask them about a Schengen visa because she will then be able to visit any Schengen country in Europe for the life of the visa.

Well.. What kind of citizen is she? American, French, Dutch? What she needs to do depends on what country she has citizenship in, if she's American she'll need to have a valid up-to-date passport but shouldn't need a visa unless she plans to stay in Spain for more than 3 (or is it 6?) months.

You should get a "Chenan" visa I'm not sure if that's the right spelling. Get's you in all EU countries except the UK. We're still very particular who comes in.
Unless you crawl through the tunnel. Or are crammed into a refidgerated lorry.
