Could anyone tell me whether the coast of Northern Spain (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Euskadi/Basque Country) has any remote stretches with no cities or towns, where one would probably not find any other people, throughout the year?

Some sources suggest that there are long, remote, generally empty stetches of coastline (especially farther west), but other people have told me that there are towns pretty much along the whole length, while still others have told me that there are long stretches with no towns, but that at least during the month of August even the most remote of these are filled with a fair amount of people.

It would be ESPECIALLY helpful if someone could tell me whether the more secluded stretches could be compared with any specific part of the Northern California coastline, in terms of remoteness and lack of people.

Thanks, amigos!

If you can, could you translate this for me: "Please can you try not to let your doors slam, especially on a night. Many thanks" Flat upstairs slam their doors constantly and they don't understand when i try to speak to them. Or so they say.

I am really pleased you received the harmonica. I hope that is what you wanted. It is the middle of the night and I am doing heaps of jobs and emails, trying to get ready to go away with the kids for a month to another city, to do some work on a documentary. My friend Nitin will go to Carolina's house with some money for you some time after Oct 23 when he is in Havana. I have already wired it to him plus some money for a small gift for Carolina and for Juan Carlos. Today I listened to some new cuban music as I was driving, and I just love it so much. You are lucky to live in a place surrounded by music. My kids have been really happy and a delight to be around. It may be many months before we see each other in NZ my new friend, but until then I hope you can focus on your work, and who knows what opportunities may come up here with your special talent. Can you send me a tape of you playing harmonica when you start to sound good at it? jajaja
