Not as busy as during the summer months. Lots of Scandinavian come to spend the winter in their Benidorm condos , but not as many Brits who prefer the real heat of the summer.
Temperature can be quite chilly but you will still find some tough cookies on the beach on a nice day. Bring a sweater !
If you are looking for quiet and have a car, drive to Altea which is just a few miles away....

depends. If you want peace and atmosphere, come to Alfaz del Pi, Altea or one of the villages near Benidorm. Altea is cafe culture bohemian fishing town, Alfaz is where I live and its got a beautiful beach called El Albir. Benidorm is a constant party but at Xmas the parties are held in hotels and bars, the streets tend to be empty

no plenty of oaps here in benidorm but the locals have it sussed out so still lots to do .
bring some warm clothes though its their winter and does get cold

it wont be warm mind it will be cold not like the uk cold but little sun i rep there its ok in winter full ov people over 60
