Yes i go there from time to time cant really remember names of bars and resteraunts ,but there are plenty of them ,although it is a bit quieter now its still a nice place and there will still be a few people about.Benidorm is just a short hop up the road ,and probably worth staying a night there, the weather should be ok,but maybe a bit cooler on the night so take a warm top. I am sure you will have a nice time.
ps.if you want to pamper yourself, pop into the Hotel diamante, they do choco therapy, wine therapy ,mud baths, sensory dances,a flotarium and pilates in their spa area,it sounds good.

Went there some 8 - 10 years ago. It was quite lively then. It is still quite spanish but there is a large ex-pat community so you will find some bars are run by Brits. Can't remember there being any "roast like mum makes" type of restaurants but there were some good ones along the promenade - hopefully they will still be open.

The main attraction is the Rock - you can't miss it!

Enjoy!

I lived near there a few years back in Javea and Moraira 20 mins away. Great fish resteraunts in the port near the famous Calpe rock and glass bottom boat trips regular. Benidorm not far away for a drive out. Have a good one.

there is a bar called zurigo run by two swiss brothers, Patrick and Heinz. Its a rock bar next to a small creek that runs through calpe, net to the beachfront. Ask them, they are funny and welcoming, they could give you a hand. They speak various languages.

My other half's Grandad lives near Calpe and they used to go every year. He often talks about a bar called 'the copper' but then again it could be 'Copa' which is spanish for glass?! Hope you have a good time!

Calpe is a fairly small size place; and as far as I remember, not too much nightlife there. It is nice though. If you are looking for a bit of action, plan to drive to Benidorm which is packed with night clubs, bars, kareoke, restaurants, etc.
Even Altea which is not too far is bigger than Calpe with a bit more entertainment......
Have fun!

think of the climate ought to be undemanding yet at night it may sense very chilly as each and all of the marble flooring dont get a gamble to soak up warmth and could as a result say take heat outfits extraordinarily for the night, daylight hours if the sunlight is out could be like a heat summer day in uk, its v smart to take issues that u can layer on.
