My boyfriend is on his way back from Iraq by boat and is in Australia right now. He cant say exactly when he returns because of security reasons so id like to know if anyone knows how long the distance is in months or weeks to get to California from Australia. Please get back to me!

So im planning on moving to Portland, Oregon in about 8 months (yeah i know it's WAY early to start planning but,,,) And well let's just say that i'm very clueless on the process. I've done my share of moving within the same town and i'm iffy about how to come about moving 7 hours away from here! Not sure where to start. Like when to look for an apartment? Or should i stay at a hotel there and then start looking for a place? All i know is that i dont have alot of cash to be going back & forth to find a nice place to live! so any advice? Oh and i dont know anybody there other wise i'd crash with them.

I need to get a passport for next year, but I cannot find my birth certificate anywhere to prove that I am a valid American citizen. Can I use my social security card or some other form of identification? Thanks!!

I am an 18 male Australian, I got $4000 but not sure if I should go over to Europe at end of year to work and travel or work in Australia a bit more first, then go over next year when I am 19.

i don't like living in the city. it's too stressful and fast paced for me. i long to live somewhere very quiet with lots of open space and grass. country side. but i don't have the funds to do this.

I am driving from the US to Argentina. I have an Australian passport and Australian drivers license. Do I need to pay the highway robbers of the NRMA $50 for a crappy piece of paper aka international driving licence, or that is an antiquated document no-one requires? Thanks

I've been wanting to go somewhere overseas or something for the longest. But i just have no idea where to go and where to start. Any suggestion? Advice? Anything. My ex and some people were telling me the philippines but i don't think i'd be going there anymore since the people i knew i am not in contact with anymore so i'm just curious and still deciding where to go.
