I am not in anyway wanting her to get a tan , but when going abroad its gonna happen with going in and out the pool/sea , I know you can get ones that last if you are in and out of water or do you think they are not very good and should i re-apply each time , thanks again x

We always use Boots own brand Soltan factor 50 for us and our kids (9 & 5) We are all fair skinned but not too fair.
We don't chose the "Kids" one as that's a pain to rub in. We use the standard one.
It was a FULL 5 star UVA rating.
It's on a 2 for 1/ bogof offer at the mo.
Very easy to reapply and they do a takeaway small pouch to keep with you when you not spending all day on the beach.
But as mentioned remind them that there skin must be looked after and not to argue about putting it on before they see the sun!

hi. The SPF element continues to be rated an identical from little ones to adults (i.e. element 50 is an identical regardless no be counted if its for toddlers or adults). some adults who want very sturdy risk-free practices will pick little ones suncreen as its usually broadly available interior the better SPF's. There are obtainable adjustments between the two and particularly situations little ones suncreens are fragrance loose or have diverse non allergenic characteristics. at the same time as there are rather deals on hand you may not purchase totally in accordance with fee, as like something the main inexpensive isn't constantly the best and looking out after your pores and skin is amazingly substantial, exceptionally in case you're honest skinned. i might additionally start up with a SPF 30 or 50 because of the fact the sunlight could be fairly heat in Hungary interior the summertime. large place to bypass to!

A protection factor of 50+ is recommended for children. At a young age they're much more vunerable to long lasting harm that might eventually lead to cancers.
For the 11 year old, what about an artificial tan?

Protection should be the priority. If she wants a tan use one that comes out of a can. People are getting vain at a young age these days. When I was 11 all I wanted to do on holiday was play!

Even if you are using a high factor sunblock, she will still get a tan.....only it will be done safely. Tell her not to worry.....the suncream will stop her burning, but she will still have a tan at the end of the holiday

ANY tan is a sign of damaged skin (just remind her of that!) Start with factor 30 and work down.

Take for ALL your kids the highest possible! Especially blond/fair people need an extra sun screen...Once the damage on your skin/body is done - little to help!

i think you are gonna get slaughtered, kids should not be getting tanned at that age etc. you need to get advice from the pharmacist because it is all to do with her skin type and if she is very fair forget it, too much pain and the colour will fade quickly.
