I am making a bon voyage card for a friend who is going travelling in Peru. I would like to add any quips e.g. how to ask for 2 beers, some interesting facts about some of the sights etc. True facts would be much appreciated.

I want to buy a computer system, including a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer, for a boy's family who lives in Peru. I live in America and can't fly down there to buy one. I need some names of reputable computer stores that have locations ideally all over Peru, because I don't know which city he lives in, and I need price ranges for a system already loaded with Spanish Windows. What I would basically do is try to get a quote from a computer store, and then send the money to this boy with the information about where his father or mother could purchase it. Could anyone please help me?

I want to try to understand Peruvian culture a little bit. I want to know what Peruvian people typically eat on a day-to-day basis. How about what they eat for "fine dining"?

I am traveling to Lima on my own for one day, and I want to move among el Centro to Larco Herrera Museum, the Indian Market on La Marina Ave, Miraflores and Barranco districts but can't afford the $12/hour quote I am getting from tour guides. Is it safe to hail taxis from place to place and then back to Callao where my cruise ship docks? Thanks.

I am looking for traditional Peruvian or Bolivian clothing for women, in sizes Small or Medium. The women wear puffy skirts and wollen vests, or wollen wrap-around overalls, and they use a small round hat. They also wear colourful pieces of fabric used to carry children, objects or anything. When I lived in Peru I saw them wear thick rubber black sandals, apparently made out of old tires. If you know where I can find all this stuff, please let me know, I'm desperate!

I'm 15 yrs old and this summer I'm having rhinoplasty. When I was little I used to play rough, and one day I accidently hurt my nose really bad. After that day my nose didn't look the same any more. So my mom finally let me have surgery, but I'm having it in Peru so I just hope if any of you know that if it's ok for me to have rhinoplasty in peru at 15. I hope so.

How were the enormous, heavy stones placed with such fine precision? The indians did not have the wheel, moving such huge stones must have been very difficult, I would be very interested to learn current thinking on how Machu Pichu was built. Thank you.
