What documents are acceptable to obtain this permit? Is the permit required of all tourists in Italy more than 8 days or for tourists in one city more than 8 days?

While in Florence, Italy I woud love to check out Rome aswell. Does anyone know how to find prices for the eurostar between those two cities. I've tried looking but it doesn't give the option for Italy...as far as i saw. All thoughts would be greatly appriciated. Thank you!

We are going to Rome for Easter and have been told that the queues for the Sistine Chapel will be horrific. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding a good tour to go on and can you recommend anything else that we must do? Thank you :-)

Hello!
We were planning on a trip to Sicily this summer but now we're thinking of Sardinia because we've seen some stunning pictures in the web and also because we have the impression it might be less crowded.
Which would you recommend?
Bear in mind that either way we plan on getting a rental car and we like to see the sights besides going to the beach.
Thanks.

Hello,

I'm planning to go on vacation to Sardinia in late July, early August, but I'm afraid it may be too crowded with tourists. Is it really crowded or just busy? Are there calmer parts in the island?
I'm planning to rent a car, so moving around shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks

Ciao everybody! I have a question. So I have bought a Eurail Italy Pass at Roma Termini station, but now I am not even sure how to use it properly. Here are some questions that I have:
1. Can I take any trains there are or only the ones Eurail schedule has? What if the city I want to go to is not on the Eurail schedule?
2. Do you know how can I make reservations in advance? Because I have to travel for a while and I would hate to stand for 6 hours.
3. When I bought the pass at Termini, they just gave me a slip of paper saying that I am entitled to traveling for 5 days, that's all, no schedule, nothing. And on top it says - Trenitalia Youth Pass. Is that the same thing as Eurail?

So, I am very confused right now and I would appreciate ANY help at all! Thank you in advance!

I want to see what you know about Italy.
You must back your work with references. I would like this to be from 1 site if possible. You may not use wikipedia.
I need to know 3 or 4 landmarks in Italy with admission fees, times you can tour the place, and a description.
3 or 4 physical features description and location.

Can you handle this question? I challenge you.
Remember you must back your answers with a reference site and you may not use wikipedia.

Thanks and hope you have fun!
I doubt anyone will want to answer this question so please take the time to try!

I've been to Rome and I've been to Assisi....I loved it! I'm going back to Rome this summer with my mother (she has never been) and would really like to take her to Assisi for a day. Is this possible? I went a few years ago and while I remember the towns and cities, I can't remember how long it took us to get there.

So, how far is Assisi from Rome and how much (we're on a budget) do you think it would cost to go there for a day? And, if it's pretty easy and not too costly to do this....what is the best way (more like the cheapest way) to get there? Bus?

Thank you for your help!
