I am traveling to Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome during the second week of March. I was wondering if it is busy during this time and will I need to reserve tickets to the Uffizi museum and other attractions prior to arriving?

Thanks

Going to Italy with my wife the first week in March. We're struggling with some planning issues, so please help with some of the following questions. FYI, we're going to Rome first, then traveling to Venice. Thanks a bunch!
1. What type of currency should we use (credit, euros, travelers checks??)
2. What 3 spots do we have to hit in Rome?
3. What 3 spots do we have to hit in Venice?
4. What foods are "gotta-haves?"
5. What should we wear during first week of March?

Trieste is not popular tourist destination city like Rome of Florence, but I enjoyed the day we spent there and treasure the ring made of sterling and a green stone I bought in a street market. What would you recommend about this sometimes overlooked jewel?

I am 27 and have been learning Italian since September, my Mum is 53 and has been learning for over 5 years. We both love Italy, the cuisine and the history of art and can go around the Easter school holidays for about 4 days. Help!

It was in the movie Only You with Marissa Tomae (?) and Robert Downey, Jr. I am almost sure it is in Rome. I will be visiting in April and would love to see this. All I know is it is a whole face with an open mouth and legend has it that if you stick your hand in the mouth and tell it a lie then it will cut your hand off. If anyone knows of even a partial name for me to start with it would be very helpful. Thanks everyone for helping me.
