I have some great audio CD resources and a friend/native speaker helping me along, but I'd really like to have one of those workbooks (with a CD preferably) that walks you through learning the language and the grammar. I learned a bit of German that way and it really helped!

I am thinking of relocating to Ireland from the US, but don't know how to find out about childcare for my 4 year old daughter. Also, where can I start looking for a job?

Of course America is a great big melting pot, but my husband and I both have Irish ancestry (and other nationalities mixed in) but we feel this draw to actually go and see Ireland. We actually wanted to take our overdue honeymoon there. How do Irish people feel about tourists is what I've been wondering.

My friend is going on a trip to Ireland (near Tara, i believe). I was wondering about protections against the good folk... As in turn your clothes inside out... stuff like that. The last thing i want if for her to get sucked down some Sidhe mound.

Went to Dublin recently (maybe shud av done a bit more homework) Not that impressed , so much like any other large city. What I really want is the 'proper' Ireland with the singin & dancin in the traditional pubs etc ...... Where shud I go?

I'm planning a trip to Ireland and want to know if I could do both cities in two days or if we should stop/stay in both cities. Also, we planned on seeing the Burren, going to Doolin and Dublin.
Any other recommendations?
Also, any suggestions on places to stay. We won't be going until next May.

Specifically a non-traditional, non-church wedding. More specifically, for April 2007 in or around Galway but location is open to suggestions.

I think I will be there for about two weeks. I have family in the North, and everyone says that the West is not to be missed. Any help or ideas would be great - I'm just planning it all now. Also what is the weather like in Fall?
