My husband and I are planning to get pregnant in 6 months. We are expats living in Singapore for the time being (2 years)and I do not know how to obtain good prenatal care. In the U.S. I generally would go to my family doctor that I have been seeing for almost 10 years. My doctor in turn would refer me to a prenatal doctor. How does it work here? I have gone to Parkway Shenton for regular check up but is this where I start or is there a better way or other options I can take? This is not to suggest that health care in Singapore is bad. I just don't know how to go about it. Also, how long should I be taking prenatal vitamins before conceiving?
