It just chills me to the bone, it said that he killed his wife, found dead in the living room, on Saturday, his son, found dead in his room, on Sunday, and then he killed himself earlier today and was found dead in his weight room. It also said that the "instruments" that caused their deaths were found at the scene, but were not specified. It is just so depressing.

When Raw came on tonight, it showed a picture of Chris Benoit. My first reaction is "Oh my God". He was only 40 years old. Then there was Vince McMahon stating that there would be a three hour special tribute to the life and career of the Rabid Wolverine. What made me mad is that McMahon tried to fake hie death. Benoit was supposed to face CM Punk in the finals to crown a new ECW World Champion, which was vacated as a result of Bobby Lashley being drafted to Raw. Benoit pulled out of the match because of "personal reasons". Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their seven-year-old son Daniel were found this morning in their suburban home in Atlanta. Police are treating this as a murder-suicide until the results of the autopsy. I feel Benoit should be remembered as a great wrestler, friend, husband, and father. Winning the World Heavyweight Championship was the best part of his career. What are your opinions about Chris Benoit? He will be sorely missed. Thank you, Chris

Per my other question "Don't Judge" I just want to say I'm not saying that he did it, and I'm not saying that he did it. I'm saying we ALL will know for sure tomorrow. So until then I'm staying hes neither guilty or innocent

There is no charge to call though long distance charges may apply. After the initial introduction, there will be two beeps, then you can record up to five minutes your memories, tributes, etc of Chris Benoit.

Various recordings will be selected for play during the Memorial show this Saturday, June 30th.

Regardless if he is or is not guilty (nothing has been determined officially yet and the autopsies haven't even started) Chris Benoit gave us 20 years of the best wrestling entertainment possible from one talent. He was the most gifted and technically capable wrestling entertainer in the industry, and deeply and positively affected and influenced two generations of fans and wrestlers.

he deserves to have that memorialized, despite any weakness that overwhelmed him. That weakness simply shows us we are all human and fallible.

I am really mad that people are thinking that he killed his son and wife. I wish people would wait and see what actually happened! Please tell me if you are also mad that people automatically think he did it.

I know wrestlers come and go but their whole family??? They say it was a possible murder-suicide.

What do you guys think? Could it also be that he is part of some "bad company" or some not so legit dealings? You know -- involved with those kinds of people who decide to off you when you want out or when you couldn't fulfill your end of the bargain.

there are too many people on here bashing benoit for what happened before any real evidence has been presented. its making me sick. yes it's more then likely that he did something really terrible here, but i have seen cases where a person was holding a bloody knife and it turned out they were innocent. you can't be sure until evidence is giving. why attack a dead man without knowing anything. if the authorities don't know then neither do you. so please please please shut the hell up. yes they believe it was a double murder. homicide - but they haven't announced it was him who did it. it could have been anyone. not to mention the evidence is still raw and details change easily this early in an investigation. they could simply find out tomorrow that they were wrong and he didnt do anything. i'm not saying he is innocent. but please wait until we know all details for sure before you say some this harsh crap I am hearing. lets all leave it alone for tonight and wait for more info tomorrow.

What made him do this also? I think he wanted to be like Eddie and die like him. The day before becoming a World Champ he never was before and Chris had almost every belt but the wwe champ that Eddie had!

anyone notice how people saying he was quiet guy..kept to himself alot..and demanded respect..and wanted respect..so if you really think about quiet people do tend to do things like killing themselves or there loved ones..

(Virginia tech)..example..911 example..but im not saying benoit is that extreme..but key word is "Quiet"..

very intense guy in the ring..but maybe that was also coming from his personal problems too..alotta things bottle up..the ring was his stone..

if anyone notice chris benoit in matches..u didnt know alot about him other than what he did in wrestling...

but its hard to swallow and believe killing his wife and "son"..geesh your son..but than again it can happen to anyone..

i hope it wasnt this..but..most likely gonna end up something terrible..

people in texas killed and drowned there kids..so..yeah anything goes

my feeling is that he got the call over the weekend from his wife saying that her and Daniel were sick and when he got back sunday they both has passed away from there illness and then on monday he couldnt deal with it so he took his own life . Just my theory though...what is yours?

Benoit was supposed to fight last night at Vengeance Night of Champions. Does anyone know why he was replaced? It's such a bizarre and tragic turn of events. He will be missed.

i know that you wrestling fans are not the sharpest tools in the box, but it doesnt take a genius to figure out what happened.

most likely scenerio : benoit killed his wife and child in a roid-rage fit of anger. i will bet any of you she was about to leave him and take a good % of his money. reasons for her leaving- his anger management issues and cheating with other women while on the road. i will bet that he had pain medication addiction, and a history of domestic violence too.

not exactly someone to be admired.

Two items. First what is your favorite memory/match with Chris Benoit. I have followed his career since he was in the WCW and I would have to say seeing him win the title at WM XX was my favorite. Second, for everyone who is responding to the losers that are making fun of his and his families death please stop. As long as you keep responding to these losers they'll keep posting and they don't deserve your time or effort. I enjoy a good joke but there's jokes and there is going over the line and they are way over that line.
