According to a report on WAGA-TV, investigators believe Chris Benoit killed his wife and son at some point over the weekend, and then killed himself earlier today.

They reported first hearing from a concerned neighbor and that the three bodies were found in separate rooms.

Detective Bo Turner told the staion the case was being investigated as a murder-suicide, but it could not be confirmed until the evidence was examined by a crime lab.

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.

Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig to an unnamed source in the department.

Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

Anyone is capable of murder. A cop killed his 9 month pregnant girlfriend the other day and left his 2 year old child in a house alone - in fact he probably killed her in front of the child from what the little boy said.

What a terrible thing Benoit did. I don't know what his problem was, but he could have killed himself and left his wife and child alone! He is a murderer of an innocent child and that makes him a cold-blooded COWARD!

I don't care how great of a wrestler he was. That doesn't matter any more. All that matters is that he will go down in history as a killer! God bless those 2 children he left behind and may God rest the souls of his wife and child! He will definitely have to answer to God for this and hell is full of killers!

I was a huge fan of the Rabid Wolverine as you see my nickname on Yahoo Answers is CripplerCar and that's because I'm a huge fan of Chris Benoit and i enjoy cars so i really have no idea what to think. i find it really hard to believe Chris Benoit murdered somebody.
I'm concerned to see how the Raw, Smackdown and ECW superstars react to this.
I guess I'll have to wait and see

BS. He wouldn't leave his family on the floor of his home, and then fly to Houston, if he did kill them at least in my mind he would've hid the body's, not leaven them out in the open

And what was the murder weapon? Authorities say they have it, but don't want to give out to much information, but there were no wounds on the body's?

I honestly dont think he killed his family and then himself. He had to much to loose. And if he really killed his family than why is his daughter still alive. She was not home when it happend.
