Benoit was supposed to fight last night at Vengeance Night of Champions. Does anyone know why he was replaced? It's such a bizarre and tragic turn of events. He will be missed.

Because he was home killing his wife and child! And, from what I have read in the last few minutes, that is exactly what happened - he killed his wife and child over the weekend and then killed himself Monday afternoon. COWARD! No, I will not miss him and neither will hell!

To put it a little gentler, yea he died... him, his wife, and his son were found dead in their home. They think it was a double murder then a suicide by benoit. Its really sad. Go to wwe.com and they have a bunch of testimonials by wrestlers that knew him like Edge and Chavo Guerrero.

2 different theories have come out:
1) He went to the main event only to decide at the last minute to fly back home
2) He called from his home in Atlanta to let WWE know he couldn't attend the show for personal reasons.

"personal reasons" but the truth is that he murdered his wife saturday. went home. sunday. murdered his son sunday. then took his own life like a coward earlier today in hos weightroom.
