i know that you wrestling fans are not the sharpest tools in the box, but it doesnt take a genius to figure out what happened.
most likely scenerio : benoit killed his wife and child in a roid-rage fit of anger. i will bet any of you she was about to leave him and take a good % of his money. reasons for her leaving- his anger management issues and cheating with other women while on the road. i will bet that he had pain medication addiction, and a history of domestic violence too.
not exactly someone to be admired.

I respect your given scenario. It would make sense or any ordinary wrestler, but I don't believe Benoit would be such a man. I'm sorry if I disagree, but I will still respect Chris Benoit as the great wrestler he was, just as much as many other fans, friends, family. He was a man of hard work and effort. As of now, we still aren't completely sure of what happened until the autopsies results confirms or disproves the act. Personal problems do not and should not affect a man's talent. I will admit that I am hurt that he's not with us anymore. It will hurt me even more if he has commited the crimes. We will just have to wait.

We as wrestling fans appreciate your concern. However, it's really not necessary. Benoit will forever be admired for his tireless work ethic. The man was so passionate about wrestling and giving the fans 100%. He was also a geneours man who will be missed. Whether you are right about Benoit fighting demons, everyone has demons to face. No one is perfect. All I am saying is before you start attacking the grieving fans of the Rabid Wolverine, think before you post your ignorance. Benoit and his family were human beings before anything. So remember that before you go attacking people. Thanks.

That's speculation at its utmost. You've pretty much just shoved Benoit into a wrestler stereotype. It's just as likely that Benoit found his wife and child dead and committed suicide because of it. Heck, maybe his wife killed the two and then committed suicide herself. We just don't know.
Wait for the actual verdict to come in before you pass judgement.
And Benoit had absolutely no history of domestic violence. In fact, this accusation goes against everything that his friends and those who knew him said about him. I don't refuse to acknowledge the idea that Benoit could kill his family, buit I refuse to speculate until the facts are known.

Benoit did kill his wife and kid over the weekend and then killed himself this morning. Just because of lapses in judgment doesn't take make him a bad man. I have met him and he is a great guy. Something in him must have snapped because his family was his heart and soul.

We're forgetting the most important part of this story, His other Children and other family members who have been affected by this matter. Instead of beating the horse asking why, we should be offering our condolences to the family and friends most affected by this, and we should just give thanks that Benoit was placed here on this Earth to provide us with quality entertainment which he loved to do everyweek.

So... we should all admire you instead? Someone pathetic enough to speak ill of the dead and try to make his fans feel bad for appreciating the years of entertainment he provided. We will never know what he was thinking or what all was going on so I will not judge what happened, I am just saddened by it.

I read that they are investingating this as a murder/suicide. They think he killed his wife and child over the weekend and then himself Monday afternoon. If it is true he was a coward to murder an innocent child and hell has a place reserved for people like that!

im not going to disagree with you. he may have had a bad side. i wouldnt say roid rage. and YES INFACT HE DID MURDER HIS WIFE SATURDAY AND SON SUNDAY. AND HIMSELF IN HIS WEIGHTROOM ON MONDAY.
