I am really mad that people are thinking that he killed his son and wife. I wish people would wait and see what actually happened! Please tell me if you are also mad that people automatically think he did it.

I didn't automatically think he did it.
The cops found the weapons at the scene. The sheriff said there were no suspects OUTSIDE of those already dead in the home.
He did it. Deal with it.

I am a huge fan of Chris Benoit and was stunned to hear the news that he along with his family were dead. I automatically assumed either they were murdered or something like carbon monoxide caused their deaths. Then hearing that the police believe it was a murder suicide stunned me and almost made me cry even harder. A lot of times, we do not know the real person. Their are numerous reports that the evidence from the house points to Benoit as the killer. I know it is a hard thing to accept because again I am a huge fan of his. Unfortunately the police are the only ones that seen the scene, and the evidence, and the bodies. I doubt they would put this information out this early if it wasn't pretty obvious. I believe the autopsies will prove what they have suggested, as again they have seen the evidence and we haven't. My condolences go out to the family, and I am sorry to hear that Chris Benoit had some issues that unfortunately overtook him. Chris Benoit I am still a huge fan of yours and I hope you and your family RIP. I also seen someone say the cops know what a self inflicted gun shot wound looks like. They have obviously not read anything about the situation. The cops said there were no gunshot wounds to any of them. I do not want to speculate on how I belive it happened as that is not right, but I do believe at this time Benoit unfortunately committed the acts that took three lives.

According to a report on WAGA-TV, investigators believe Chris Benoit killed his wife and son at some point over the weekend, and then killed himself earlier today.
They reported first hearing from a concerned neighbor and that the three bodies were found in separate rooms.
Detective Bo Turner told the staion the case was being investigated as a murder-suicide, but it could not be confirmed until the evidence was examined by a crime lab.
Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.
Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig to an unnamed source in the department.
Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

Yes I am mad that people automatically think that Chris Benoit killed his wife, son, and himself. I do not believe that he would do something as horrible as that. I know that they always say you never know what a person is capable of doing and that is true but in this case I do not believe that is what happened and I hope and pray they find who did do it.

YES me too. i wish they would READ what the cops said instead of automatically thinking he done it. GEESH all the cops said is it LOOKS like he did not that he actually did it. anyone could of stage that he had. THEY NEED TO WAIT for the offical autopsy report and cops offical report before spreading rumors,
THIS happen when my mother in law had a car accident and passed away so so many many rumors went around that were not true about the whole deal. They did not even wait to hear what really happened.
SO same as this situation they need to wait and hear the truth first. and we may never know what really happend.

Well actually according to the police, they believe that he killed his wife and son earlier during the weekend, and then killed himself earlier today. I know everyone will say wait for the autopsy, but I think law enforcement knows what a self inflicted gun shot wound is. Not for nothing it would be pretty obvious especially to homicide detectives who see it everyday.
PS also keep in mind if the authorities didn't really believe it to be what they are calling it, murder suicide, they would just say homicide investigation and leave it at that pending further investigation.

I am tired of all the assumptions too. For all we know, maybe his wife was the one to go Psycho and do it. The fact is, we may not know what exactly happened, and we won't know why. All the people taking joy in this and speaking so ill of the dead are just pathetic.

I can't tell all of you how much I want to wake to read the news tomorrow that the police were mistaken and Benoit was a victum not a killer.

I see you in all of these threads readily accusing and condemning Chris Benoit when noone.... not even the investigators know the facts. Every crime that looks suspiscious must be investigated as such if only to rule it out.
