With the upcoming match at the Sony Ericsson Open in a couple of hours, what are your predictions? Will Serena dominate once again, or will Sharapova redeem herself for the loss at the Australian Open final?

Each and every tennis event (pretty much) consists of a single-loss elimination tournament with seed seperation, ... QFs SFs, ... and games and sets - what if we instead had a season with:
only 3 months of tournaments, and with seperate brackets for the top 4, rest of top 20 & non seeds, then one of the runnersup qualifies to the Super Four through a mass single-tiebreaker loss elimination game.
Then 1 month of playing in 6 man national teams only (+ a doubles & 2 tagteam match types making them 5/9 clashes)
the 6 months of wrestling federation or boxing card inspired play where only every 7th episode is a Super Main Event and most other matches are mere big vs small challenge matches,
and then 1 month of round-robin or 3 phases with a cut and a ladder match finale for the Super 16; while 20 nations and regions of the world hold similar events for the best qualifying runners up ....
& then a rest month.
I ask would it not be better for the sport, the players and the viewers?

... apart from being evicted from the arena, should he be charged in court?? Why didn't the organizers do anything about it when he was heckling Serena earlier on in the match, and had to wait till she brought it to the attention of the umpire? I hope Oprah brings this matter up on her show because racists should be punished!!!!!!!!

I play tennis usually around five times a week on hard courts and I am having a hard time finding a pair of shoes that doesnt lose its grip quickly... I returned my last pair of shoes recently because of the worn down tread and my replacement pair which is differen by adidas is already worn down alot on the inner toe where it is most critical.
So I really need to know what tennis shoes offer the longest life and perhaps come with a warranty incase they still don't last. I've heard of the Reenforcer or something by k swiss but i dont know how much the replacement sole costs? Any Ideas anyone?

As you may know, Sharapova will face Serena Williams in the 4th round after she defeated V. Williams in a bloody match. Who do you think will get revenge? Sharapova, for loosing to S. Williams in the Australia Open final? Or S. Williams, for having Sharapova beat her sister?

With the criticism over urging the Grand Slam tournaments to award equal prize money to both men and women, what are your thoughts about the criticism over the fairness of this decision (ie. Men playing more sets)?

I think Serena will come in mad as hell & means business in her match against Maria for beating her sister. The score will be 6-2, 6-1 for Serena.

For examp: Andy Murray looks like Goffy, Sahar Peer looks like Mr. Potatoe Head, Hantuchova like Snow White, A.Roddick like Captain America, Sharapova & her father like the Beauty & the Beast, ....etc.
Could you add...?
