I definitely am looking foward to this match, but I think it will be much more competitive than the whipping Serena gave Maria at the Aussie Open. First off, Serena has to play a match today and then Maria tomorrow, which means that Maria gets an extra day of rest. But as we saw that the Australian, that we never know what to expect out of Serena. She played a great first match and I definitely think she would rather play Maria than her sister Venus. They never play very well against each other. In the end I still think, or at least am praying that Serena wins, in either two tights sets or three. My guess on the score.. 6-4, 7-5 for Serena

I guess Serena will be winning 6-1 4-6 6-3. It's just amazing how Maria manages to get past her opponents despite making endless double faults and unforced errors. Unless I am wrong, she has made at least 8 double faults in every match right from the beginning of 2007 (the match against Camille Pin in the Aussie Open). Elena Dementieva must be unhappy, she's usually the record-holder in serving double faults.

Serena will win 6-4 6-3, the only reason Venus lost is because Maria is mentally stronger then Venus.

Let's hope so. With Sharapova most likely still thinking about that whooping that Serena gave her at the Australian. I'm sure she'kll definitely be a little jittery. In fact the first time they ever played each other was at this tournament in '04 in this exact same round (Round of 16) with Serena winning 6-4, 6-3. Let's hope that it's similar. I'm predicting a straight set victory. Whether it be for Sharapova or Serena... IDK!??
