I have been looking on the Net and there are jillions of them. Kinda had my eye on Jerry Briesath's "How to Play Pool Right". I can afford to buy one, but don't want to buy hundreds of them if they are above me or below me. I noticed that this one is the only one endorsed by the BCA (is that worth anything?). I need to polish my technique and develop some good practice shots. Talentwise.....I used to be able to run the table occasionally in 8 or 9 ball, but not very often. I was "decent" but not going to win any leagues or serious play. I don't want a video that says, "OK, here is the table, there are 15 balls, this is an 18 oz cue, this is a 21 oz cue....." Need something of substance. I have read Byrne's 2 main books many times and understand the physics of pool. Yes, I would love to have a person-to-person lesson(s), but I have 2 small kids, run a large ranch, and live in the middle of nowhere Kansas about 100 miles from a major town. This is the most I can do.
