pink is worth more points and trust me it will get you more points with the wife!

The rules are simple. You should go for the pink whenever it is open. However if the brown appears to be available you must first seek the permission of your co-player before addressing it. If you co-player denies you the brown and If the pink has been repositioned you may go for that again instead. Following several attempts at the pink the brown may be approach once more however you may require a "rest ", for this is dependant on the type of cue you play with.

pink is always a safer option, but then if you go for the pink, slip and hit the brown,,,, ooooppppphhhh, that might cause you some grief, sooooo..........
maybe you should go for both, perhaps your wife will be happy with your choice of both.

Go for the pink first, I've heard it's tricky the other way round. But never ever lift both of your feet off the floor whilst attempting this.

i agree with 'mummy pig' if u guys like taking your old ladies with the brown ball then i think u should be playing snooker with another guy and tell your wife u need to tell her something.

The pink is easier to find as it is by the triangle, and the brown is more difficult for position.

Pink has a higher value, however you don't want to make the next shot more difficult that you have to so go for the one you can get the best position off for your next shot.

The pink, by default, is the easiest route. The brown is not everyone's taste. However, when it comes to identifying the balls to be played, they should always be kissed before popping in .....
